Dr. Cody Fang, MD, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine physician at Chami Clinic in Taipei, Taiwan, specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics, acupuncture, and oncology care. He integrates classical Chinese medical theory with modern clinical practice, providing acupuncture-based care for complex and chronic conditions. Dr. Fang is also an experienced educator and speaker, sharing his clinical expertise through professional webinars and continuing education programs for licensed acupuncturists.

This webinar introduces Dr. Wu Xiong Zhi’s acupuncture system, a classical Chinese medicine approach that translates the therapeutic strategies of herbal prescriptions into meridian- and point-based acupuncture treatments. Drawing from traditional theory and clinical reasoning, Dr. Fang explores how the therapeutic intent of classical formulas can be reinterpreted through acupuncture when herbal medicine is limited or not appropriate.

Participants will learn how classical prescription strategies can be “rewritten” using acupuncture points and meridian relationships, with particular emphasis on internal medicine and oncology care. The webinar provides a theory-driven framework for understanding the relationship between herbal prescriptions and acupuncture treatment, helping practitioners expand their clinical reasoning and apply classical Chinese medicine principles in acupuncture practice.
