Dr. Chia-Chu Hsiao, MD, is a Taiwan-based physician trained in both Chinese and Western medicine at China Medical University. He specializes in classical Chinese internal medicine, with particular expertise in Shang Han Lun (傷寒論) and Tang Ye Jing (湯液經), integrating pulse diagnosis and precise pattern differentiation to guide effective herbal prescriptions. Dr. Hsiao is widely recognized for his ability to translate complex classical theory into clinically applicable knowledge through teaching, lectures, and his educational media platform “Understanding Chinese Medicine with Dr. Hsiao (蕭御醫講透中醫).”
This webinar explores traditional Chinese internal medicine through the classical frameworks of the Shang Han Lun and Tang Ye Jing. Dr. Chia-Chu Hsiao emphasizes classical pattern differentiation grounded in pulse diagnosis, guiding participants to understand disease progression, identify core pathomechanisms, and apply herbal formulas with precision. The course focuses on restoring classical clinical thinking, enabling practitioners to move beyond symptom-based treatment toward principle-driven herbal prescription rooted in the original logic of classical medicine.
